week four of student exchange in the philippines

 - Monday 9 October 2023

As usual on Monday we do the ceremony first. 

In the afternoon we were invited to eat with mam ELOISA C. GABRIEL and mam jobienhel M. Mendoza in the city of angeles at the lala garden restaurant, the journey to the city of angeles is about 2 hours from san isidro. The city here is quite big and has wide roads and is very close to Mount Arayat, I really enjoyed the trip and I was able to see what is in the Philippines.

This morning mam Neriza Suarez invited us to practice teaching in grade 8. Here I learned how to teach properly, I explained about Athletics material, namely Abc running drill. The students here are very excited when I teach them.

After finishing I returned to the Bpem room for evaluation with mam neriza, how should it be done to be even more perfect, here I can find out what my mistakes are when teaching. it turns out that learning here the teacher must be very active with students, and it turns out that this method is very effective and makes it easier for students to understand learning and not get bored during learning.

After I finished my practice teaching, I enjoyed my free time in the gym to see the students practicing there, such as practicing taekwondo, dancing, badminton and dance.

- Wednesday 11 October 2023

Today we did another teaching practice in the Pe room, we evaluated yesterday's practice teaching for tomorrow, I evaluated what should be changed in the learning process, because tomorrow is the final of my teaching demonstration, and I have to maximise my teaching performance.

After that we continued the activity to ask for autographs from Mam Rita, Mam Pastora, Mam Maria and Mam Narez Suarez. 

After that, as usual, we did gymnastics in the gym in the afternoon.

- Thursday 12 October 2023

This morning we immediately prepared everything for our final teaching demonstration, such as preparing cones, televisions for power points and power point materials. After that I waited for the time for the start of the lesson at 8am. The lesson began, I began to explain like the order of my lasson plan from the first I said good morning then took attendance of the students and continued the material.

I am here explaining about athletics with the topic of movement Abc running dril which is with 4 movements, the movements are. Ankling, high knee, butkikers, and finally straight leg. 

The children here are very excited and active in the lesson, and it makes them understand my learning. 

After I explained how the Abc running drill movement, I told them to practice it and take their scores.

After finishing, I was very relieved because I had done the final demonstration. 

Later in the afternoon mam tereza, mam arnie, mam terez, mam rosnel and mr makren took us to gapan city for food and souvenirs.

- Friday 13 October 2023

today is a sad day in the philippines, because today is the day of our farewell to the teachers here. in the morning at 9 am, we did a farewell in the NEUST san isidro directorate room, here we talked about what activities for one month here, each lecturer who accompanied us told what memories were passed with me, and then I said a farewell speech with them . I can't help but feel sad, because they are my parents here. They are very kind to me and I have good memories every day with them. very sad that day.

After finishing we headed to the mosque in Gapan City to do Friday prayers, this Friday is our last Friday here, very sad because we hear the azan only here, and we also say goodbye to the administrators who we can call ustad there. 

After that mam thereza, mam arnie and mr markren invited us to eat together, btw they are memorable teachers for me, because they are very good with me and they are the closest teachers to me, like mam thereza she always worried about me when I was sick, then mam arnie I learned a lot with her about life, then mr markren he always entertained and joked with me. There are also teachers who impressed me but they didn't come to eat with us, that's Mr Jonathan M. He's like mam Thereza, he really cares about me and he's very polite, then mam rosnel and mam rosnel they are my mentor teachers to complete my lesson plan assignment.

all the teachers here are very good, maybe if I tell you all there will be no end, because every teacher here has a special impression on me. but the ones I mentioned earlier are the teachers who are often with me, they are all teachers here are very memorable to me.

- Saturday 14 October 2023

Today is the toughest day for me, because today I leave my new family in the Philippines. Friends here give a lot of gifts to remember here. Like mr lester, he gave me a book that he wrote, then mam Thereza and mam arnie bought me a filipina t-shirt, mr jonathan also gave me a filipina t-shirt, mam nancy gave me a NEUST t-shirt and a small towel, then from my friend like daniel he gave me kerbaw milk candy, then sharin made a painting and a knitted bag for me, then the 8th grade high school students gave me a number of memories. But my fondest memory is being able to meet and get to know all the people in NEUST.

At 2pm we left NEUST and we reached the airport at 6pm. We were escorted by Thereza and Neriza to Manila Airport. They waited for us until we entered the aircraft waiting room, very patiently they waited for us, because in my opinion it was very long here and travelling time for 4 hours from san isidro city to manila.

After that we departed by plane at 10 pm and then we arrived in Singapore for transit at one in the morning. After that we continued our journey to jakarta indonesia at 7 am Sunday morning, and we arrived jakarta at 9 am. After that we left again for solo at 4 pm and arrived at my city at 5 pm
