second week student exchange in the philippines

-[] Monday 25 September 2023 (cerymony)

     This morning we held a Ceremony at Gymnasium, the ceremony went smoothly and the activities began with raising the Philippine flag and the NEUST flag and accompanied by the national anthem, the students performed many performances, such as dancing and singing. I think if universities in Indonesia do this kind of activity, it can increase the creativity of children. 

     After that, we made a speech again after the officials made a speech. After we finished, we met Ma’am Maria, we talked a lot and took pictures together.

     After that we talked about the programme there. We talked about lesson planning with mam Rosnali and mam Nerezia. We were told the order of lesson planning and what topics we would apply later.

After that we had lunch with our buddis at ayam bakar near campus with the office officers before they had their mitting. And after that we had free time, because today was family day, and we used that time to exercise together. 

-[] Tuesday 26 September 2023 participating in teacher's day activities

     At 08.00 we went to the core Cabanatuan campus with mam tereza, mam neriza, mam rosnel, the other I forgot who mam, and mr mark. There we do the name roll call first. There we gathered with all the NUST lecturers who gathered there. I think this event is very big, because all the lecturers and osis gather together on teacher's day. Teacher's day here is celebrated from 5 September to 5 October. 

     There are a lot of activities here such as performing arts, dancing, singing, playing games, very communicative with the people who attend. It seems that if this kind of activity is done in Indonesia, it will increase the creativity of students and strengthen the family together. 

     After that we were given a letter like the assessment of this event, it's a good idea because it can be used to evaluate the next event. The event started from 08.00 - 12.00.

     After we finished the event, we went for a walk to SM mall cabanatuan mall. Just walking around and distinguishing what is not in Indonesia. After that we went back home and finalised our lesson plan

-[] Wednesday 27 September 2023

     Today our buddis mam pantola, she asked how I was doing because I was sick, I said sick, then mam pantola called mr aris to check my health, and it turned out that I had a blood shortage. after that I was told to rest, then I continued my lesson plan.

     At 4Pm I participated in the zumba routine again, we requested to play Indonesian gymnastics, namely the mau mere gymnastics. After the gymnastics is finished, the ladies here do the dance. It's very exciting because they are still active and agile. 

     After the gymnastics, we were invited to buy dinner, we ate goat, the smell of the restaurant there was very goaty, I ate kaldereta, it tasted almost like rendang. Fyi, I'm still not feeling well here..

     This morning the junior high school held an inter-class competition. In this opening we did a walk around NEUST together,

After returning to the campus we held an opening ceremony, namely burning torches to mark the opening of the event. Here the class dancers showed their creativity in front of the stage and the players prepared themselves for the next competition.

After that we carried out observations at Sunior High School. Here we are given an example, how to teach properly and meet the SOP requirements. Here Mr Jery is teaching a dance lesson, the name of the dance is Filipino folk dance, this dance comes from the Philippines. After the event was over we said goodbye and returned to our campus.

-[] Friday 29 September 2023

This Friday morning you have free time then mam angel and mam rosnali give us breakfast. Here my body is still not good and mam teresa comes to my room, mam teresa is a very nice person, she really cares about me, she also often buys us food. mam teresa is very afraid of my sick condition, she asks how I am every time it's good or not. Because not yet, mam teresa called mr aris to check my blood pressure, after being checked it turned out that my blood pressure was very low then I continued my rest.

At 11pm we went to the mosque to do Friday prayer there, after jumatan finished mam angel and mam rosnali took us to jolibe.

After that I went back to my room to rest. Actually, me kenet invited me to practice folk dance, but mam tereza and mam jamin told me to rest. I worked on my lasson plan which will be corrected by mam rosnali.

-[] Saturday 30 September 2023 holiday to Bagiuo

     Today we were invited to tour the mountains with Neust officials, namely Mam Maria, Mam Nancy, Mam Marica, and Mr Jonathan. We leave at 6am using the Neust travel car. At the moment I am not feeling well, but I don't want to waste this opportunity, because the fact is that not everyone can visit the Bagiuo area because the prices there are very expensive.

The first place we visited was the international lions / marker that the city has arrived in Bagiou.

The second place we visited was Burnham Park 

Here there are so many things we can try like cycling together like this

Then mr jonathan gave me the opportunity to feel the massage of people here, hoping that the pain I felt would be reduced but it was not.

And we also took a boat ride together on the lake 

After that we had a meal at SM Bagiuo, actually I had no appetite today but I forced myself to replenish my energy.

Next we visited Wright park

Here we walk and buy a lot of souvenirs for our beloved family.

After that we looked for lodgings and it turned out that the lodgings were all full, and finally we slept at mam nancy's granddaughter's house.When I wanted to sleep my body was very cold, Mr Jonathan was very concerned about me, he gave me a blanket and a place to sleep, here I am. using 3 layers of pants so that I feel warmth

- Sunday 1 October 2023 

In the morning I woke up and performed the morning prayer, and the mums prepared breakfast for us, mummy asked how I was, after which mummy gave me black coffee to increase my blood pressure and as a result it made me a little better.  

Here I take a photo in front of mam nancy's granddaughter's house, it's very beautiful and unique because of the mountains filled with houses. 

After that we visited the Igorot Stome Kingdom. It looks like a historical place but there have been many updates. There we also witnessed the original dance of the Philippines. After that we returned to San Isidro.

Before returning to my room I was invited to check my condition at the Dr paulino j garcia hospital - PJG I was immediately taken to the head of the hospital there named dr. Bong Meislin, thank God I was negative for covid 19 and there was no dengue fever. Here I don't have a photo because the hospital is not allowed to take pictures.

Before going home we had a meal together
